Biography
Jani Hyvärinen is a senior education expert at Finnish Schools International. He is also working as a kindergarten director and a pre-school teacher at Kindergarten Mansikkamaa in Oulu, Finland. Working in the Finnish education system for over 20 years has given Jani extensive experience and a clear vision for developing pre-primary education, primary education and early chil:dhood education and care.
By focusing on Finnish education system, Jani has been able to put his work experience and earlier studies in Oulu university to good use. He is currently working on a master’s thesis about the national core curriculum and its connections to emotional intelligence.
When he’s not at university, working with Finnish Schools International or in the kindergarten, Jani is an avid football fan and music enthusiast and loves spending time with his family.
